What happens in the free consultation?

Your free consultation is a relaxed, no-pressure Zoom chat, usually about 20 minutes. Together we’ll gently explore what’s been going on for you, what you’d love to change, and how online hypnotherapy can help you get there.

It’s your space to ask questions, tune into how it feels, and see if we’re the right fit to work together.

There’s no obligation and no awkward sales pitch. Just an honest, calming conversation about what’s possible. If it feels right to move forward, we’ll create a personalised approach that honours your goals, your mindset, and the inspired changes you’re ready to make.

Please note: this isn’t a taster session or a demo. Hypnotherapy isn’t something you “try.” It’s something you commit to when you’re ready for lasting transformation.

Will I be asleep during Hypnotherapy?

Not at all. Hypnotherapy is a natural state of focused awareness, similar to being absorbed in a daydream or lost in a good book. Some people say it feels a bit like sleep, but you remain fully aware and in control the whole time.

You’ll feel deeply relaxed, yet calm and completely in control throughout. Most clients describe it as peaceful, calming, and surprisingly familiar.

You’re not “under," you’re tuning in to yourself, your inner wisdom, and the positive changes your mind is ready to create.

Will you make me do anything strange or uncomfortable?

Never. This is clinical, client-centred hypnotherapy, focused entirely on your well-being. The aim is always to help you feel safe, supported, and fully in control at every stage.

Nothing happens without your full awareness and consent. You decide what feels right, and we work together at a pace that honours you.

What if I don't go deep enough?

You don’t need to feel “deep” for hypnotherapy to work. Some people describe feeling light and floaty, others more alert, and both are perfectly valid.

Hypnotherapy is effective because of the changes we create in the subconscious, not the depth of relaxation in the moment. Your mind already knows what to do, it just needs the right conditions and the right guide to help it let go.

How many sessions will I need?

Some clients notice a real shift after just one session, but lasting change is rarely instant.

I've tried other therapies before. How is this different?

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, which means the power is already within you. I simply help you access it.

Is Hypnotherapy safe if I've experienced trauma?

Yes. When delivered gently and professionally, hypnotherapy can be a powerful way to release emotional weight without reliving the pain.

I always work in a trauma-informed way, at your pace, with your comfort at the centre of everything. You will never be asked to revisit anything you are not ready for, and your emotional safety is always my top priority.
